About the client
Candice Ferrell is a jewelry designer with a strong local following and ready for a new online presence. to escalate her quickly growing enterprise and offer online sales, a dynamic website was the next step for her growing business.
Since Candice uses healing stones in her designs, she wanted to find a way to show off a balance of femininity and earthiness with her brand. And since the main goal was to encourage online sales, she needed an e-commerce platform that made purchasing pieces intuitive and efficient.
Understanding the audience
A successful brand story always begins with the person on the other end of the screen, so we began with market research. With a good understanding of the customer who salivates for Candice’s designs, we began the creative process. We focused on strong women who appreciate a balance between natural energies and femininity. Each of these women is a true hero in her own story, often balancing a career and a family, and has a true appreciation for nature. This is how the concept of the warrior woman was born.
Weaving the story
Candice’s story as a strong entrepreneurial mom with a love for the outdoors was the bedrock of what built Roses for Roselyn, so we knew her background needed its own spotlight. By telling Candice’s story on the about page, we offered readers an opportunity to connect and see themselves in the brand. It is this kind of connection that builds customer loyalty, and it was an opportunity we were excited to expend upon. After all, Genuine Content itself is a company built on strong female leadership, so we understood this importance at a fundamental level.
A brand photoshoot
We scheduled a lifestyle brand photoshoot so that we could show off Candice’s designs in action, and brought in a model who we knew would bring the lightness and brightness of the brand we developed.
Teaching Squarespace maintenance & Social media
At the end of the project, we worked with Candice and her team to teach them how to navigate the backend on Squarespace and how to keep a site growing on Google through sustaining healthy SEO practices.
Also included in Candice’s package were two social media coaching sessions where we met one on one with Candice to give her the skills she needed to build a consistent social media presence to match her new brand.
